Happy Valley Veterinary Clinic and Hospital is seeking a full‑time Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated professional team.
Form 5 or DSE graduate
Minimum 1 year full time experience in veterinary field or in a similar animal care role
Certificate in veterinary nursing/relevant studies is an advantage
Fluent in English and Cantonese
Able to work under pressure and flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required
Genuine love and care for animals is essential
Self‑motivated, willing to learn, independent and good interpersonal skills
Less or no experience but have experience in taking care animals might be considered as Animal Care Assistant
Job Description
Assists veterinarian during consultation and surgery
Take care of hospital patients, administer medication, provide care and treatments, as directed by the veterinarian
Handle in‑house lab tests, and take X‑rays
Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients about the status of patients, as directed by the veterinarian
Ensuring the cleanliness of exam rooms, kennel, and treatment areas
5 working days per week (on shifted Sunday and public holidays)
Compensatory day off for working on public holidays
