Australian-based retail solutions provider Job Description • As a member of a Scrum team be accountable for managing, organizing and doing all development work required to create a releasable increment of product every Sprint. This includes:• Writing tests & code according to team guidelines and processes.• Contributing as a full scrum team member in all standups, refinements, sprint planning meetings and retrospectives.• Prioritising, coordinating and managing individual workload and tickets from start to finish to ensure it contributes to the team sprint goals.• Actively learning new skills, languages, technologies and work methods required to be an effective member of team/department.• Contributing to technical and functional requirements gathering, estimating and helping to prioritise the sprint backlog.• Seeking and accepting technical architecture & design guidance from more experienced peers, being collaborative within the team and sharing own knowledge across the wider team.• Collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Owners to gather requirements and functional input & design during each Sprint.• Sharing development, testing and product knowledge across the team• Actively contributing to the team’s continuous improvement process by identifying and raising bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the team.• Reviewing code and code designs.• Documentation of development & testing procedures and criteria.• Developing, executing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code scripts.• Developing, executing and maintaining automated tests such as unit tests & functional tests.
